The Founders Story

THE JOURNEY: FROM EXTERNAL SCAFFOLDING TO INTERNAL SAFETY

The 45-Year Search for Safety

Alysia’s story begins with her six-year-old decision to adapt; a decision that quietly shaped the decades that followed. Faced with overwhelming experiences her young system couldn’t understand, she made a survival choice: to place her safety outside herself.

Believing she had no power or control, and that her truth was wrong, she hid herself by copying others and staying as busy as possible. All in a desperate attempt to be “safe.”

She built her entire sense of self in external scaffolding. Hiding in relationships, jobs, and routines, craving validation and avoiding conflict. She mastered the art of over-functioning.

She followed the lead of her cognitive mind and the meaning it had applied to her experiences in its attempt to understand and to function.

Her mind manufactured a sense of safety in the external, but her body knew the truth.

Her body tried to get her attention, through chronic digestive issues, extremely low hormones, persistent fatigue, and pain that flared in her hips, knees, and neck. But she didn’t listen.

She believed she could override the symptoms. That she was capable. Driven. She could push through.

The strategy worked brilliantly, until it didn’t.

When the job she had hidden in, along with the relationships, routines, and structure that held her up collapsed, so did her entire sense of safety and identity. When those external structures were removed, she had no internal stability to fall back on. The collapse revealed just how deeply her sense of stability had been anchored outside herself.

The scaffolding that had supported her for so long exposed its fundamental flaw: it was never hers to control.

In the depths of that darkness, Alysia made a discovery that would change everything.

Through energy medicine, spiritual healing and somatic therapies, she encountered her wounded inner parts and the narratives they carried. And from the intelligence that they held, she found what she really needed was to feel safe inside herself. And from that place of inner stability, Alysia discovered her innate sense of self.

“I found my emotional wounds; each frozen in time and terror, clinging to unwavering beliefs that quietly shaped my internal story, my physical symptoms, and my behaviours. My deepest wounded part had dissociated so completely she was nonverbal and unresponsive. She needed resuscitation in the quantum.”

That moment; energetically resuscitating her own inner child, and connecting to the wisdom held in her body became the foundation of everything Purpose Lived Co. would become.

If she could bring her own pilot light back online and recognise her true self, she could help others do the same.

THE METHODOLOGY: BORN FROM LIVED EXPERIENCE

The Purpose Lived Pathway Emerges

Alysia’s healing philosophy wasn’t learned in a classroom - it was forged in the fire of her own transformation.

Every element of the purpose lived pathway came to her from her personal journey and it became the anatomy of her inner stability.

Notice - she listened to her body’s sensations. Her body finally got her attention through symptoms so loud they could no longer be ignored.

Understand - she connected to her mind’s meaning. She discovered the survival narratives her mind had created in moments of terror that initially supported her but over time limited her significantly.

Strengthen - she moved towards inner stability. She experienced first hand how trauma fractures ones’ self into suppressed, emotionally contracted and cognitive adaptive parts that prevent inner security. By integrating those disconnected parts she fostered connection with herself and safety from within.

Align - she stepped into truth. She held the light to the dark and lived the dance of transformation from external scaffolding to internal safety one step at a time.

Her training in NLP, Advanced Matrix Therapies, Emotional Processing, Nervous System Regulation and Energy Medicine wasn't random - each modality helped her understand a different aspect of her own experience:

  • NLP: Working with the meaning-making mind and internal representations

  • Matrix Therapies: Accessing and clearing stuck emotional patterns

  • Emotional Processing & Nervous System Regulation: Understanding the body’s responses, building capacity for regulation and learning how unresolved experiences are held within the nervous system

  • Energy Medicine: Addressing the spiritual and energetic dimensions of healing

“I just went through my own journey. I was rebuilding and collapsing at the same time. Everything I learned became the way back to myself. And eventually I remembered who I’ve always been. I met myself again.

And that’s how the Purpose Lived Pathway came to life.”

THE MISSION: PERSONAL PAIN BECOMES GLOBAL PURPOSE

Helping people find a different way forward.

Alysia's mission is deeply personal.

Having lived through the suffering that comes from disconnection and the quiet desire to tap out of life when no way forward seems possible, she understands just how quickly hope can disappear.

"When the body makes sense, hope becomes possible. It is now my mission to help as many people as possible move from confusion to understanding, from understanding to hope and from hope to a life of greater choice and purpose.”

Her mission extends beyond individual healing to systemic change.

Impact

"To help reduce the suffering the leads people to believe they can no longer continue."

Method

Helping people understand themselves through the language of the body, so they can reconnect to who they are and create stability from within.

Legacy

Changing the conversation from “what is wrong with me?” to “what is my experience trying to tell me?”

Every day, Alysia continues the practice she teaches. Noticing. Understanding. Strengthening. Aligning. Because self recognition may happen in a moment, but inner stability is cultivated over time.

“It is my daily, non-negotiable practice. I still get triggered, oh my God of course I do! But I now communicate with my body to understand what old belief system I have reverted to, and what internal resources I have access to. I remind myself that I can choose a different narrative.

I have self-authority from the stability that resides inside me. And that’s enough.”
